So my friend Kristy is getting married TODAY! and I needed a card for her TODAY!!! Go figure the one card I don’t have stocked is a wedding card! luckily I remembered a cute cake card I made a while back that was really simple and I thought would translate perfectly into a wedding card. The steps were essentially the same minus the cute little pendant or broach or whatever you want to call the little thing in the middle of this card. I used the martha stewart score board for that little masterpiece! I really wish I would have had gold ink to stamp with but I think Stampin’ Up’s Crushed Curry works pretty well too
I thought a little bride and groom might be a nice touch but then I decided I really just wanted to keep this card simple. I like the streamline look to it. Well hope you enjoy! Congratulations Kristy! You are going to be the most beautiful bride ever!

I have made so many friends lately and I wanted to make some cards for them since everyone really seems to appreciate handmade cards. Sweet Valentine’s Day!
4 02 2011I’m so excited for Valentine’s Day because I love making the cards for it! I used the Tim Holtz stapler to attach most everything because ever since I have bought it I have become so LAZY! Using my tombo even seems like too much of a hassle
So I hope you enjoy and I can answer any Questions you have! Mon Amie means “my friend” and Ma Cherie means “my dear” I used distressing ink on everything and the trim ribbon was gathered in certain areas to make it frilly! I used the Cindy Loo Cricut cartridge to make the frames for the little postman and then used an embossing folder on them. Then I embossed gold onto them and added another layer of sparkly embossing powder to make them even shinier. Hope you all enjoy!

Hello Kitty Post-it Note Booklets
28 12 2010These are super easy to create and I have made post-it note holders before with the instructions in a previous blog so just go back and you will find it
I used the hello kitty dies that are on clearance on sizzix.com outlet! one is $0.79 and the other is $1.49!!!! So cheap! the scallop circle is a Spellbinders Nestability die of scalloped circles and I cut the hole using this circle cutter! It is magic! I love hello kitty and who doesn’t?! So cute! These were made for my fellow GTAs (graduate teaching assistant) at school! I KNOW they will love them. btw I think hello kitty always looks better cut out in glitter paper don’t you?!
